Sometimes, as a little kid, there are so many new things going on in the world that it can be hard to pick one thing to pay attention to. The ability to focus your attention is a skill that takes practice. It is one of the skills children will attain as they learn CrossFit. The movements we teach are skill based, not just about strength and conditioning, so kids need to pay attention and concentrate on what they are doing. They learn that focus pays off in increased performance. In our case, higher performance levels occur in the gym, in the physical realm, but children can also take that focus "muscle" to their school work.
