Certainly as we get older in life we learn, one way or the other, that working in teams is a powerful thing. Learning to work with other to achieve an objective takes practice. Team workouts and games in CrossFit help kids learn how to communicate and organize toward a goal. Maybe for them the goal is winning a race or building a fort out of boxes and weight plates, but it teaches them critical thinking and social skills on top of getting a great workout.
