I remember when I opened my first business. I was 20 years old and it was the recession of '90. I had just finished my enlistment from the Air Force and, more importantly to those close to me, I was giving up a steady paycheck. My family, doing what families do in their version of support, warned me of impending doom. These warning were in the form of "what if" scenarios... "what if you can't make your rent?" and "what job will you fall back on if this doesn't work out?" I had no real answer except for the fact that I KNEW to my core that I would not fail. I had no real understanding of just how hard I had to work to not only not fail but to succeed but I gladly did everything it took. Do you have a similar story? Do people close to you give you "warnings" to protect you from getting hurt? Do you believe in your core you will do everything it takes to succeed?
BTW - that business is still running.

Enjoy this great LONG video from Tony Robbins about belief systems.
Great. Yes, long but worth watching. Multi task and get paperwork done while listening. Anyways, I've heard this guy speak in person about 10 years ago. Good stuff.

We are about 8 months into our affiliate and it definately hasn't been the smoothest ride. However, I know that we will succeed. We are already taking large measures to keep the doors open and June has been our best month by far. I'll write the whole story sometime in 2010.

I had the blessing to work with Tony and he is 100% congruent with what he teaches. He would get more done in a week than most people get done in a month or two

I recently opened the first CrossFit in Switzerland together with a friend of mine.
Everytime I meet my parents, they are asking me:
"Ramon, what about your studies? Don't give it up, you need the bachelor degree" asf.
I just realized, that it is almost impossible, to have a daily job, opening a CF, and doing my studies. So, the only way I can follow my dream, is, stop studying.
So I experience a lot of warnings. But I won't listen to them.
