Felt pretty disgusting by mid-day Sunday.  Didn’t necessarily stop eating, but felt pretty disgusting since my stomach was more used to smaller amounts of food.  It’s funny because I had a LOT of food fantasies going by the time the competition was done, but as a fighter friend of mine and I discussed on the phone today, you get all excited to eat everything again and then it turns out it’s not as exciting as you thought it would be.  Kinda funny.  I remember hanging out with him a few days after he had a big fight and he would order a ton of different things off the menu and eat like half of everything.  I found it funny at the time and now I totally get it!  It’s like you have all these cravings, but nothing can quite live up to it or satiate it.

Nonethless, it felt good just to eat without restrictions.  And even though today I am back on meat and veggies, it felt good to eat as much meat and veggies as I wanted.

12:45pm

2:30pm
Turkey and marinara
Seaweed

3:00pm
Cauliflower, with butter

5:15pm
Protein drink
Fish Oil

NOTE: Cutting myself off now for the rest of the night and until I weigh in tomorrow in Long Beach.  When I got up this morning I weighed 132#!  All week I’ve been trying to lose 1# and kept weighing in at 135# and then spontaneously was at 132# this morning.  No complaints here!  Except that I think I look like a bobble-head now…but whatever! lol

I went grocery shopping today for some healthy snacks for after my weigh in—Lara bars, bananas, trail mix, protein drinks, etc.  Almost all of which I haven’t eaten in quite a long time now.  Going to weigh in early, like 8-9am, eat, nap, and then do my thing for 8 minutes-ish at 2:45pm.

I’ve been on a food accountability since middle of December and have been super strict all this month—pretty much only veggies and meat.  From where I started (which was slightly chubby for me) to where I am now was 10# total.  This weekend there will be no logging and I plan to eat whatever I want—like fruit and cheese (and pizza)!  My stomach has seemingly shrunk, however, so my festivities might be curtailed a little by that—I get full fast now!

The journey isn’t over food-wise until tomorrow when I officially weigh-in—then I will be able to take a deep breath and know that it’s done!

Sundays, historically, were by “off days” from my eating plan.  I’ve been stricter about that lately, though.  Today I cheated a little bit, because I think I have the room to.  We’ll find out, I guess! lol!

10:00am - IndoRow workout

12:30am
Brunch at La Grande Orange:
Breakfast tacos—Eggs, cheese, avocado, salsa, three small tortillas, couple forks of beans, maybe one fork of rice, chipotle mayo
Chai tea latte

6:16pm
Chicken tenders
Green beans
Fish oil

7:30pm
Three cookies

NOTE: It is 8:15pm and I feel disgustingly full.  Not looking forward to how hungry I’m going to feel tomorrow.  Always starving the day after cheat days.
