Okay, so this was a MAJOR food breakthrough evening.  I have NEVER liked fish and over the years I’ve kept thinking I should try it again, just to see if my taste buds have changed and I might like it now (I also NEVER liked red meat or vegetables until the last couple years, so it’s possible!), but as soon as I ever caught a sniff of it I couldn’t actually do it.

Tonight I ate like 4 pieces of fish!  With the advice of a fellow cooking class student, I tried the milder fishes we did tonight and avoided the seafood soup and salmon.  I actually LIKED the tilapia and mahi mahi?!? This is easily the first time I’ve eaten fish in a couple decades and for sure the first time in my life I’ve eaten fish voluntarily.  A whole new world has opened up all of the sudden!
