NOTE:  Not much food today.  Got food poisoning or flu or something starting at midnight last night.  Was convinced I was going to barf for all of last night and most of today.  Lots of stomach cramps, burping, achey joints/muscles, fever, etc.  Miserable.  Feeling better, but no interest in food.

NOTE: Today was crazy due to travel.  Planned to eat a real breakfast at the airport and arrived to discover my tickets had been canceled (Thank you brilliant minds at American Airlines!), so next thing I knew they were putting me on a flight that was already boarding and it was sprint-PDX time.  Thankfully I am a food hoarder and had a bag of jerky in my carry on already.

**Weighed myself this morning, 1/1/11, and I weigh 140lbs.  That means I actually did lose 2lbs this past week.  I weighed #142 when I started this darn food plan and it didn’t budge for a month.  So, phew!  I feel great at 138# typically, but need to be 134# for the rowing competition on 1/29.  6# to go!  I’m gonna look all sucked up, but I’m sure I can eat my way back to 138# pretty easily afterward. wink

DAY OFF FROM FOOD PLAN

This is my second of three days off from my food accountability while I’m here.  I think I will use my last one on Thursday, so I basically just chose today to space them out.

Small banana nut muffin

12:00pm - CrossFit Workout at CrossFit Excellence in Lake Oswego

2:00pm
Grilled ham and cheese
Steak fries
1 scoop cookie dough ice cream

4:00pm

12/27/10

9:15am—Workout at CrossFit Portland

10:45am
Chai tea latte (non-dairy)

2:30pm
Chicken salad—chicken, spinach, red pepper, sun dried tomatoes, dressing
Italian chicken soup (chicken and veggies)

6:00pm - “Fit Class” at Team Quest Martial Arts

8:00pm
Baked snap peas

11:30pm
Fish oil
Apple

NOTE: Didn’t even realize I hadn’t eaten for most of the day.  Part of it was the times of the workouts and not wanting to eat before I workout.  Part of it is trying to not spend a fortune on food while I’m here.  And part of it was that it was a roller coaster day of reminiscing, seeing an old friend, meeting and connecting with a total stranger, meeting new friends in old places full of memories, etc…food apparently became secondary.

NOTE:  This was my first of three “off” days I get from my food plan while I’m in Oregon.  I can put them on any day I want. I was torn about having Christmas be an off day actually, because everything is closed, but it still worked out alright.  Probably better this way!  Not sure when off day #2 will be…pretty sure the #3 day will be when I make it out to Tillamook.  CHEESE!
