Going to knock down the blocks by one starting today!
According to the Zone charts, I should be doing 11 blocks, but in the past when I’ve tried that, it’s just been too difficult. So this time I started at 13 blocks and things have gone really well. Now that it’s been a bit and thing are in a routine, I’m going to go from 13 down to 12, give that a few weeks and then go down to 11 from there.
Also considering cutting cheese out or at least minimizing, but that’s one of the reasons the Zone was hard for me before. I’m actually allergic to milk and milk products, but because of the way the Zone works I tend to eat more dairy when I’m doing it than when I’m not. But then my head clogs up for days at a time. I’m trying to figure out if I like cheese more than I like having clear sinuses.
8:30pm
4 block meal: 6oz ground beef (1.5 patties), 16 olives, 2 cups green pepper (1 block), 4 cups zucchini (3 blocks)
I cooked up the burgers with the olives, and the peppers and zucchini in another pan. Huge dinner.
I don’t “Zone” on weekends, so I don’t log them here, for anyone wondering. I eat sensibly—eggs, chicken, salads, etc. but I don’t worry about Zone amounts. I “Zone” Monday - Friday.
