I’m coming down with a cold and got NO sleep so I’m delerious with 6 days left of my current job.

I’m getting ready for a big transition at work so my whole nervous system is a little askew (no jokes please).

2 hard boiled eggs 9:00 am
latte with soy milk from starbucks - a major “special occasion” trip
Lunch
Wrap in lettuce from leaf

Snack 12:00 pm
Zone bar (oh man they are horrible)
Apple - 3 pm

Salad with tofu and whatever I can dig up - I need to go shopping

Sunday, September 30th

Um wow do I hurt today - I’ll be at the Abbot Kinney Festival with one of my favorite people on earth - my dad! Lots of walking to ease the pain of yesterday in store. Going to try to keep it light as I’m planning on upping my intensity next week.

I woke up….slowly..and managed so far to make a cup of green tea with soy milk.

Stretching so I can continue to move and eat today!

I am finally and quickly recovered from my accident but I didn’t cheat after the first traumatic day so I’m ready to log again. I will leave out the number of zone bars I had to consume when I was hurting too much to do my normal shopping. Now back to regular programming.

Breakfast 600
Protein shake

1 scoop powder
1 egg
Water and viatamins

Uh oh a work lunch at a kebob joint:

Managed one 1/4 pita bread
avoided a huge appealing glob of rice and ate the chicken

I went to bed early just to get up and to the Hooverball Tournament on time so when I woke up at 6:45 I had to skip my normal breakfast, grab some snacks and hit my bike fast.

Luckily I made it in time, so snacks followed breakfast.

Snack - 7:00 am
string cheese
2 almonds
1/2 grapefruit

Snack - around 10:00 am after being socked with many hoooverballs, including a hard shot to my nose
string cheese
2 almonds
the other half of the grapefruit

Lunch (the meal formerly known as breakfast) - noon
2 scoops protein powder
1 cup soymilk
1/2 apple

Dinner 6:00 pm
Salad with spinach, cucumber, sunflowerseeds, 1/2 cup ricotta cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar

Snack 7pm

1/2 apple
1 string cheese
2 almonds

Broke down and had a huge fruit salad with 1/2 cup ricotta cheese at around 10 pm
tons of water today with only 1 cup of coffee. smile

no breakfast - bad! I wound up eating a disgusting protein bar in the shop attached to my office building.

Lunch - noon
Salad with hardboiled egg, tons of water


Around 3 pm I got all stressed out and had my first Diet Coke in some time. It felt awful going down and certainly didn’t quench my taste. I will not be doing that again any time soon. It tasted like cleaning fluid (not that I’ve ever had cleaning fluid for a beverage, but you get the drift)

Snack - 4 pm
1 slice provolone cheese
3 almonds

Pre FGB snack 5 pm
1 slice provolone cheese
3 almonds

Dinner 8 pm

HUGE spinach salad with 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 15 pine nuts, some sunflower seeds, sliced cucumber, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Mrs. Dash (what a lovely condiment she is) and 1/2 avocado

Snack 10 pm

String cheese
2 almonds
1/2 apple

I let my busy schedule get the best of me and haven’t worked out all week - I can feel it mentally AND physically. I can’t wait to come back to class tomorrow.

In any event, I’ve found adding that extra egg to breakfast is very beneficial to my work day, which is like being an air traffic controller, only online and there are no passengers at risk.

Breakfast - 6:30 am
2 scoops green whey protein powder
1 cup soymilk
1 egg
1/2 splenda (I’m weaning myself slowly off off artificial sweeteners)

Snack - 11:00 am
1 slice provolone cheese
3 almonds
1/2 avocado


Lunch
Wrap with tortilla, veggies and grilled chicken (my first tortilla in 9 weeks -woah)


Snack - 6 pm
1 slice provolone cheese
3 almonds
1/2 avocado

I had an evening event for work, and didn’t touch any of the food passed around and I’m almost too tired to eat dinner. Looking forward to tomorrow…and the Hooverball tourney!

Big long day - great news my dog is going to be ok!!!

12 hour day with 3 meetings required an extra egg in shake for breakfast and a 1/2 cup more of soy milk. Worked like a charm as an extra boost.

Breakfast


1.5 cup soy milk
2 scoops protein powder (Green Whey)
1 egg
Coffee

no snack

Lunch (business lunch @ Tony P’s in MDR)
Salad with grilled chicken, minimal dressing, water and iced coffee


Snack - late! around 6

Hard boiled egg

I’ve been at PF a little over 8 weeks and have lost 14 pounds. I started the zone the day after Nicole’s seminar, so I guess it works!

Sunday, August 18

Breakfast (this is the same every single day):
1 cup soy milk
2 scoops protein powder (Green Whey)
4 strawberries
Water


Snack

!/2 Apple

1 string cheese

Coffee with soy milk and 1/2 splenda


Lunch

Wrap with cucumbers, lettuce and grilled chicken
Small apple
Water


Snack

Hard boiled egg
1/2 apple
handful sunflower seeds


Dinner

1/2 pack of those veggie packs (precut) sold at the coop)
1/5 block of tofu
all grilled in olive oil with a handful of sunflower seeds and bragg’s aminos
