5 Pullups (no help - the first time I ever did this workout, with no bands)
10 Pushups (also the first time I ever tried this doing the pushups from my toes)
15 Squats

AMRAP 20 Minutes

I finished 11 rounds and about 1/2 of the 12th round. 

In the past, I have always finished 13 or 14 rounds, but I am really pleased with my results - since I didn’t use help on the pullups and did the pushups from my toes.  The pushups are definitely what slowed me down.  I need to work on getting better at doing them from my toes.  Goal for next time: Complete at least 12 rounds - so I can get “on the board!!!”  I was so close.

Cross fit workout at the Santa Monica stairs - fun, fun!!

1 Sprint down and up the stairs
30 Second Handstand hold
21 Burpees - from toes, yeah!!!

1 Sprint down and up the stairs
30 Second Handstand hold
15 Burpees

1 Sprint down and up the stairs
30 Second Handstand hold
9 Burpees

Time: 19:40

And then, one last time down and up the stairs - at a slow and steady pace.  Emphasis on the slow - since I got stuck behind a few turtles on the way back up - just for s**** and giggles cheese

Pull Ups (I did jumping pull ups)

Not a bad time, I probably should have pushed myself to do full pull ups (instead of jumping pull ups).  However, I did get in a car accident on the way to the gym - so I was feeling a little shaken up.  I am fine - just didn’t push myself in the workout, probably, as much as I should have.

Guess I was feeling a little guilty, because I did 30 pushups from my toes when I got home from the gym - for no apparent reason.

I made it up on the board, in the #5 slot!  Yeah - this is the first time I made it on the board for one of the “girl” workouts cheese

We did the entire set, one time through.  I did pushups from my knees.  Time: 11:52

Next, 250 wall balls, in teams of 3.  My teammates were Monica and Erica.  We each did roughly 83 wall balls.

January 30th

Didn’t make it to class last night.  Was feeling too tired and didn’t think I could make it through weightlifting Wednesday.  However, was later overcome with sense of guilt for not working out so I did:
100 Push Ups (all from toes, yeah!!!)
100 Sit Ups
100 Squats

Didn’t time myself, was really just working on form.  Better than nothing, I guess.  I did break a sweat wink

21 hand stand push ups (or heavy shoulder presses)
12 pull ups

I did a mix of hand stand push ups (with my toes on the bar) and 20# dumbell shoulder presses for 1st 2 rounds.  Last round was all hand stand push ups.  Definitely need to work on those more.

Ok, here goes nothing.  I am FINALLY going to start trying to post my workouts.

I was really proud that I made it through all 6 sprints and kept all of them within 5 seconds of each other.  Running, especially sprinting, has never been my strong suit.  I am really happy with my results…......but, of course, there’s always room for improvement. grin
