12:45pm Beet and Chicken Salad, Whopper Chocolate

5:00 Stuffed pepper w/ turkey and rice, puffed corn

7:30 Turkey meatloaf, side salad, 4 cupful of puffed corn, 1/2 cup of salty honey nuts, one piece of chocolate

9:00 Pumpkin beer

Tuesday September 9

7:00am Unsweetened soy milk, ice-coffee w/ splenda

8:00 handful of trail mix - peanuts, cashews, raisens, cranberries, chocolate, peanut butter

12:45pm Beet and chicken salad, more trailmix

5:15 unsweetened soy milk w/ decaf coffee and spoonful of protein powder

7:00 small stuffed pepper (beef and rice), salad w/ cucumber, half a grapefruit and cottage cheese, lots of cheese puffed corn


Monday September 8

7:00am Unsweetened soy milk, ice-coffee w/ splenda

8:00 handful of trail mix - peanuts, cashews, raisens, cranberries, chocolate, peanut butter

12:45pm Beet and chicken salad, more trailmix

3:30 turkey low carb wrap

6:30 beer, large stuffed pepper, raisen and nut bread w/ low sugar jam

9:00 honey nut trailmix, lots of cheese puffed corn

It’s been a week since I’ve posted and I have to admit that when I’m not conscious of the food I’m eating, I end up eating a lot of crap.

Sunday September 7

11:30am Caprese Omelette (basil, tomato, mozzarella), french roll w/ orange marmalade and butter, coffee w/ cream and art. sweetener

3:30pm tall ice-tea w/ lemon and mint

4:30 tuna cheese melt on sourdough, small salad w/ vinaigrette dressing

7:30 decaf ice coffee with 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond soy, splenda, cup of bean sprout soup, one handful of fake version of pirate’s booty puffed corn

Saturday September 6

9:30am protein powder in glass of water

12:30pm korean bbq beef, soybean soup w/ squash and tofu, large salad, side dishes of potato salad, kimchi, and bean sprouts

3:30 ice-coffee w/ unsweetened soy milk and splenda, handful of peanuts, 2 pieces of chocolate

7:00 chicken ceasar salad, 2 bowls of clam chowder soup, brownie a la mode

10:00 pinkberry coffee frozen yogurt w/ rasberries

Friday September 5

7:30am Glass of unsweetened soymilk, ice-coffee w/ splenda

10:30 trailmix of nuts, cranberries, and chocolate

12:45pm Turkey low-carb wrap, 2 pieces of butterfinger chocolate

4:30 Chicken and Beet salad

8:00 2 cookies, 6 pieces of chocolate, peanuts

Saturday August 30

12:30pm Chadol beef bbq, large salad, bean sprouts, soybean stew, onions

2:30 Korean rice/bean/pumkin dumpling dessert

6:30 Egg-fried fish filet, egg-tempura squash, kimchi cucumber, more of the dumpling dessert, small brownie.

I don’t know why I ate the brownie. It wasn’t even tasty - but it was there in my fridge. Now John is definitely not taking me to Coldstone’s tonight.

Friday August 29

9:00am Protein powder in glass of water

11:30 2 eggs, 2 turkey bacon, small glass of unsweetened soymilk

3:00pm Sashima tuna salad w/ ginger soy dressing

4:30 peanuts, string cheese, raisen nut bread w/ no sugar added strawberry jam

7:00 Approximately 8 mushroom stuffed pastry hor d’oeuvres, fried calamari w/ cocktail sauce

11:00 sweet potato and regular fries, beer, some kind of proscuitto mission fig

1:00am 2 leftover mushroom stuffed pastries

I almost had ice cream but didn’t. I made it through Friday without any ice cream!

12:30pm Prosciutto and Mozzarella panini sandwich, small salad, few spoonful of lentil soup

3:00 carrots, diet chocolate ice cream float

7:00 fried crawfish po’boy without the bread (french bread was gross), sweet potato fries, coleslaw, few bites of crawfish etouffee and jambalaya, light beer

9:00 Coldstone’s coffee ice cream w/ brownie on waffle cup

I know! Ice cream twice in one day and ice cream the night before. I’ve been eating brownies like crazy in the past two weeks. Okay, I’m not having any dessert today (Friday). That’s my nutrition goal for today. One step at a time…

5:00 The other half of my po’boy sandwich, string cheese

8:00 big bowl of low-carb ice-cream and chocolate

I’ve been on a carb binge and seem unable to get out of it.

Can’t remember what I ate during the day but I did have cuban roasted pork with extra garlic sauce for dinner, buttered bread, black beans, plaintains, and glass of sangria.

Saturday August 23

7:00am 2 eggs over easy, 1 turkey bacon, unsweetened chocolate soy milk

1:00pm shrimp salad (in mayo w/ celery), tuna salad, large coffee w/ usual

5:00 chicken and vegetable tamales, more shrimp salad

8:00 2 glasses of rum cocktail, porkchop w/ sweet potato tamales, chips and salsa, few bites of sea bass, mussels, ceviche, 2 cakes, few bites of brownie a la mode.

11:00am 2 bowls of clam chowder, salad, scrambled eggs and potatos, large cinnamon roll w/ icing

3:00pm ice coffee w/ usual

7:00 chicken tarragon, ice-cream over fig and apple cake, 2 glasses of sangria w/ lots of fruit.

Not my best weekend but not too bad either. At least I didn’t eat super late or munch on junk food all day. 

Non sequitur - my neck is extremely stiff from hooverball. How did President Hoover do it?

Sunday August 17

11:00am Omelette w/ cheese, onions, potatoes; croissant w/ orange marmalade & butter, 3 cups of coffee w/ usual (mostly decaf)

4:00pm Gumbo, Chicken gumbo crepe, few bites of monte cristo sandwich (ham and cheese in fried bread w/ berry sauce), asparagus, few grapes

5:30 chicken tenders w/ barbeque sauce, hot fudge sundae, 2 chocolate chip cookies

10:30 Prime rib salad w/ parmesan cheese, tomatos, horseradish-type dressing, diet coke

Not my best day for eating healthy. I was tempted to eat a chocolate cake but didn’t. That’s about it with my self-control.  I dont regret the hot fudge sundae but the cookies were over the top. I really didn’t need the cookies but they were there.

Friday August 15

8:30am Coffee w/ half & half and splenda

11:00 scrambled eggs, italian sausage, cantalope, orange, bread w/ butter, coffee w/ half & half and splenda

4:00 Grande Ice-decaf coffee w/ half & half, sweet & low, peanuts

7:30 mango margarita, steak and shrimp fajita w/ rice, beans & onions, chips w/ salsa and guacamole, a huge brownie and flan ice cream dessert w/ sugary tortilla strips and chocolate & caramel sauce.

Okay, I weighed myself and gained back 5 pounds I lost last week. I’m guessing its all the desserts that I’ve been eating. Well, I don’t have to guess. I can see from the logs that it is the nightly desserts I’ve had all week. Plus, every night I’ve been going to bed absolutely stuffed and unable to breathe from all the food I consume during dinner.  I’m going to eat a lighter dinner tonight and NO dessert.
