Today I went just a bit over on blocks or calories but not too much. I’ve earlier determined my blocks to be 25 a day a month ago. This was about the same amount that I was focusing on eating 6 years ago a while after I started crossfit. After going my body fat test with the scale and tape measure and determined my fat free body weight with a high activity level, the recommendation of the Zone book for me was 23-24 blocks a day, but to make it simple I just made it a strait 25.

...didn’t finish the last part of my diet log for this day. To sum up what i had; everything was balanced except that I had like a 3 block meal over my 25 block daily limit before sleeping cause I was hungry from a seemingly longer day. Also, for my dinner I had a 5 block meal, carbs being 10oz of cooked broccoli and like 4 light beers (5 carbs each) and 1 or 2 regular beers (about 10 carbs each). It was my crazy attempt to hold a Zone balance while still being able to play a game of beer pong that my roommates started! ...there were really hot girls playing the game to! Thats my excuse!

SEEING IN TRUE OUNCES

Another day worth celebrating. Believe it or not, up untill now I have not used a digitlal oz scale to weight my food. I have used the measure cup and eyeing method before. What i thought was 4oz of chx breast was actually about 2 oz! And what I thought was 2 carb blocks worth of cooked brocoli was actually just a little over 1 block worth!
