So, where to start. Well, first, I commented to Matt as we were leaving that I did some things today that I haven’t even dreamed of doing since I was a kid. Like the Knees to Elbows. I was kind-of amazed that I could actually get through a total of 15 of them. They were certainly a little wimpier by the end, but I did them!
The warm-up by itself was definitely tiring, but i got through it. I could tell I was a little exerted though because after Becca went through the Work-out with us, and when we were setting up our stations, I had a few brief moments of getting dizzy when I stood up straight, so I knew the warm-up got to me.
Then we got to the Work-Out. I think I was pretty conservative on the weights, because I was able to keep going with just some little breaks here and there. I’m really glad I didn’t overdo it though, especially since I had never done most of those movements. So I was able to focus on form a little more. I think it’s going to be a process of learning what I can handle.
All in all, I really enjoyed it, again. What I liked was that it was totally not at all boring. Every class I’ve tried out so far has been completely different and a real challenge…and I find that really fun. I’m looking forward to my next class, right now. Tomorrow, when I wake up to find my hamstrings screaming, my whole back aching, and my arms barely able to carry my water bottle, I think I’ll be all about the break until next class…
And I’ll see you then!
