Okay, I haven’t tried it, but I plan to just for novelty’s sake.  This was one of the first workouts posted on the Crossfit site, February 19, 2001.  It takes a full hour and though the rowing distances get shorter, you have less and less time to do the Hang Cleans as you get more and more exhausted.

row 4000m (2 minute/500m pace) 
21 50% BW Hang cleans within 16 minutes   (~1.3 HC/min)
row 2000m (2 min. pace)       
18 50% BW Hang cleans within 8 minutes   (2.25 HC/min)
row 1000m (2 min. pace)       
15 50% BW Hang cleans within 4 minutes   (3.75 HC/min)
row 500m (2 min. pace)       
12 50% BW Hang cleans within 2 minutes (6 HC/min)

resting time is limited to the time you have to do the hang cleans.

7500m of rowing keeping the same pace the whole time and 66 50% BW hang cleans?  It just looks like it might get ugly towards the end.  Can’t wait to try it, though.  Anyone game?
