1:30 lettuce wraps with chx and shrimp, grilled veggie salad with chicken breast
9:00 hot and sour soup, pork dumplings, mongolian beef with scallions

OK, dinner was a little nuts.

1:30 7 oz blackened salmon, wok veggies, 2 shrimp rolls with veggies in rice paper

Open dinner
7:30 Mixed olives, Wild mushroom pizza with sausage….The Whole Thing!
9:00 fresh baked hotel choc chip cookie, 2 small bed chocolates!

OK, just gotta say, that when in SF, I have restaurants that make me a happy man!  Gonna be good, but not that good!

Dinner at Betelnut
The best pork dumplings with spicy peppercorn sauce…..holy moly
The best spicy sczechuan green beans I’ve ever had.
Both items: a regular fix.
In the past though, I’d have had two additional items.  Such restraint!

See, not too bad.  But damn tasty.

40-minute bike ride on the beach and stretch
11:00 1/2 apple
1:00 4 pc yellow tail sashimi, roll with crab, avo, cuke…no rice, albacore and cuke salad (actually got out of this Japanese restaurant with no rice!  And loved it!)
2:30 one pc string cheese
4:45 One rib celery with almond butter
7:00 grilled turkey, butternut squash, salad of celery, cuke and onion with Tbl ranch

Now I know why I typically use Saturday as my open meal day…..more time, more time to crave eating.  Eat, eat, eat.  I’m an eating machine.  It’s been an interesting week with no grains/pasta…..
Today I had coffee right out of bed for the first time all week.  What a buzz!  Over the week, I found that replacing the coffee first thing out bed with tea (herbal or not) is a nice improvement.  I get the heat and flavor I like (different for sure), but it satisfies a need.  And the coffee is a bigger deal when I get to it.  Such creatures of habit we are….

ok, i’ve replaced the pre morning workout coffee with tea….and I like the change.  I’ve also cut out the post dinner decaf…..I think this makes a difference.

3:30 Coffee fix (is it time to cut down on the coffee?  do you think?)
7:15 1/2 lb. Turkey burger with fresh rosemary, cauliflower and roasted veggies, small tomato salad with avocado and onion
9pm 2 handfuls almonds, cashew, cranberry mix

Major change in last two days is cutting out starches at lunch.  Typically do pasta 3-4x/wk….still had some rice in sushi rolls yesterday though….

8:00 am:  4 oz roasted chicken, canteloupe and honey dew melon, coffee with 2 teaspoons sugar
2:00 pm:  8 pc.tuna/avocado/cucumber sushi roll, tuna poke
3:30: coffee with teaspoon sugar
7:00pm: 2/3 lb 7% grnd sirloin, steamed carrots with 1/2 tbl butter, tomato, onion, fresh mozz with tspn balsamic vinegar
8:30: 2 handfuls almonds, cashews, cranberries

Damn, that’s a lot of food.  Scary when you write it all down!  But yum…
