5 high box jumps (made it up to 32”)
20 KB slingshot (10 each direction)- 20kg
skill work- I worked on dips with a mini green band.

WOD
3 rounds for time:
10 power cleans
10 front squats
10 jerks

~85# for all

It was just Naz and me for this class, with Becca teaching.  Talk about good quality strong lady time! smile  This was so much harder than it looked!  I initially thought I was going to do 95# but warming up, 85 felt plenty heavy and I didn’t want to take 20 minutes to finish.  The power cleans weren’t that bad, the front squats really slowed me down, and the jerks weren’t that bad it was just hard to string a bunch together because I was tired by that point.  I haven’t poured sweat like that in a long time.  It was great working out with Naz right next to me.  She was really pushing me to keep going and keep short breaks.

First time going to an evening class in a long time.  It was a good one!

bench press- max reps (1/2 bw, used 80#)
pull ups- max reps

1- bp: 18, pu: 12
2- bp: 15, pu: 12

Wow! That was hard! I haven’t done bench press or pull ups in awhile so it was nice to get some more practice on those.  My arms are gonna hurt tomorrow!

Tabata Stuff - burpees, squats, push-ups, sit-ups

Push-ups- 5 (ouch!)
Sit-ups- 13

Oh my word those push ups hurt after Lynne yesterday!  I even did them from my knees, but it was still super slow and painful.  It was fun though to work out in the middle of the promenade.

The advanced weight for women was 35#, I did 3 reps to test the weight and yep it was heavy.  Burch said these should be challenging, and I thought well there are only 6 so lets go for it!  The sit ups were the easiest part of the work out, burpees weren’t too bad, but dang those push presses were tough!  I’m glad I stuck with the heavy weight though.  My arms are thrashed!  I’m looking forward to resting the next 2 days.

Helped Alyssa pick up this huge heavy TV from her brother’s girlfriend’s apt, and load it into my car.

WOD #3
Bringing the TV from my car, up to Sweet Cheeks HQ. 

Hahaha so today Alyssa and I impressed both of her brothers and her brother’s girlfriend with our functional fitness. tongue laugh They didn’t think we’d be able to pick up this huge TV and get it down to the car.  So Alyssa told her bro to hold our purses and then we deadlifted the TV and asked them to get the door.  It really wasn’t that heavy it was just awkward to carry.  I guess this crossfit stuff works!
