Playing Games

Posted by Andy Petranek : Monday, Aug 09, 2010

Fitness doesn't just have to be about training hard in the gym. In fact, one of the most important parts of fitness is to get out there and do stuff... fun stuff... adventurous stuff... play games, sports, be active. After all, what's the point of all the hard work if you're not going out and using it in the rest of your life!

Our Hooverball Commissioner, Greg W., has organized pick up Hooverball (volleyball with a 6-pound medicine ball) games down at the beach most of the Sundays this month in preparation for the Annual CFLA Hooverball Tournament on August 28th. For details, log into our SocialGo Site and look up Hooverball in upcoming events and groups. Hope to see you down at the beach!

In Their Own Words...
Our kids, eight and ten, have been going for six months now and they LOVE it. This is a real workout/conditioning class and they are super proud of their accomplishments. This is a great addition to any sport that your kids may already be doing. They are the strongest they have ever been and they look forward to going....In addition they learn about healthy eating. - Jackie T.
