Babies!  A Big Welcome to the CFLA Family

Posted by Andy Petranek : Friday, Sep 14, 2012

Over the past few months, we've had TWO wonderful additions to our CFLA family. Eric and Alisa had baby Fiona, back in the beginning of April; and Jane had hers, Morgan, near the end of June. I'm happy to say that BOTH mammas are back at their CrossFit training and doing extraordinarily well. I'm convinced that part of the reason for this is their level of fitness and conditioning going into childbirth. Jane and Alisa continued CrossFitting right up to their due dates. No, they weren't trying to set the world on fire, break old personal records or otherwise improve their fitness. Rather, they continued to train, content with doing just what their bodies allowed, pushing it just a little bit, and going into child birth strong, fit and ready, making their return and recovery faster and easier than most.

Next time you see them at CFLA, look out for their little ones in tow... they're surely right behind (or taking a nap in the tall room)!

In Their Own Words...
Our kids, eight and ten, have been going for six months now and they LOVE it. This is a real workout/conditioning class and they are super proud of their accomplishments. This is a great addition to any sport that your kids may already be doing. They are the strongest they have ever been and they look forward to going....In addition they learn about healthy eating. - Jackie T.
